524 Creative Wins Two Communicator Awards for Website Content

524 Creative - Communicator Awards

Marietta marketing agency 524 Creative received two Awards of Distinction from the 26th Annual Communicator Awards. The honor recognizes blog posts created for the Town Center Community Improvement District (CID): “Why Trails are the Unexpected Solution to Meeting Today’s Community Standards” and “Bike Shares Connect People, Neighborhoods and Destinations.”

Founded over two decades ago, the Communicator Awards is one of the largest international awards programs honoring creative excellence for communication professionals. The 2020 award pool included more than 6,000 entries representing the best in advertising, corporate communications, public relations, identity work, and digital and social content. The awards are judged and curated by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA), a group of leading professionals from acclaimed media, advertising and marketing firms.

April Wright, Principal of 524 Creative, said, “Content creation has become an essential part of every brand’s marketing strategy. With these two blog entries for the Town Center CID, we seized the opportunity to tell a larger story and their place within it. The pieces showed the nuances, the planning and collaboration behind the CID’s regional planning efforts. We were proud of how the entries turned out and are thrilled the Communicator Awards chose to honor them.”

The agency created the two blog posts as part of a regional connectivity series to show audiences the expertise and innovation at work within the CID. The first entry highlights the benefits of green infrastructure, such as a connected trail system. In the second, the CID proposes bike share programs as effective mobility options. It also discusses the economic opportunities that arise when regions invest in shared resources. The resulting pieces educated readers and challenged them to think deeper about how they relate to their physical surroundings, especially while traveling.

Tracy Rathbone Styf, Executive Director of the Town Center CID, said, “We are so happy with the content created for our website. Both pieces underlined our commitment toward finding regional connectivity solutions. Most people see the regional planning results, but they may not recognize how or why it appears in their daily lives. These pieces bring you in on the equation and help you see the future we envision for Town Center.”
